MAUI!

Dug up a drawing I did a couple years ago of Maui after the Ulalena show in Maui.

Thought it'd go well with the"Moana" thread :)

Real curious to see the final design for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's Maui character.

Disney's MOANA Revealed?...

Well, not yet. This is some character development  art I did for a  series of 

Polynesian/Oceania books I was doing between '86 and '93 :P!

Looking forward to Disney's Moana. I hope it's a satisfactory representation

of Polynesia and it's people.I hope the characters at least LOOK Poly! ;P

Anthropomorphic Animals.....

Did some random sketches the other night.

Kind of a teaser for what I'm bashing together in my spare minits here and there ;P

I love drawing human characters, but I find animals and other creatures

so much more liberating. 

Hopefully I'll post a rough image of what I'm doing soon!

PENN&TELLER...

They announced they're taking their show back to Broadway for 6 wks starting in July,

so I just did quicky of them riding their magic cow/elephant to New York...

 

 

(Penn lost 100 lbs, but I added about 40 back on so you'd still recognize him :p)
