Countdown to WILDSTAR!!!

They said we could post some images of development art for our massively friggin awesome game WILDSTAR ONLINE releasing june 3rd!...BETA open NOW!!

I of course am not allowed to show you anything that you haven't seen already or that would ruin
any of the massive surprises in the game. So sorry, no final art (except maybe 4 pieces) or spoilers.
But here's at least a small taste or variation of what you may have seen already or will never see because it didn't make it into the game.....

    1. Awesome! Thanks Bro! This is the comment I left......

I was just having this same conversation with two of my younger coworkers yesterday!
I whole heartedly agree and understand.
The frustration is that generations of CG animators and artists don't understand that tangible, visceral and intuitive harmony and connection we feel with our traditional craft.
I appreciate what the technologies and changes have brought to the table, they've been helping pay my bills after all.
But I still keep my animation desk right next to my computer. I use it daily. I may be able to render a cool painting or bring a computer generated puppet to life on my computer, but what I do on my old desk...... it's breath, it's tears, it's smiles.....
      ... those are real.
If everyone could feel what we feel my friend.... If only ;)

  7. Amen, well written my brother. Schools and professionals need to teach today's generation not to put "all their eggs in one basket".

Paper and pencil = heart and soul forever. :)

    1. Hi Garance! I Thank you so much! :)
I colored everything in Photoshop. I recently started using Manga Studio as well and like it! :) I still draw it traditionally on paper and scan it but then color in Photoshop or Manga.
